YLIA has two production facilities based in Poland, in Białystok and in Puławy. Both facilities are surrounded by the most modern infrastructure adjusted to the operational needs connected with modern technologies. The facilities are equipped with the conference halls, administration buildings, development facilities and hotels, which allow easy supervision of the realised processes. YLIA headquarters are based in Warsaw.

UE PROJECT

The company Inframed Nowe Technologie Sp. z o.o. has been granted a support from EU funds within the project ,,Increasing competitiveness of the company Inframed New Technologies Sp. z o.o by creating a thermal imaging technology research department” within the Regional Operational Programme of the Lublin for the period 2007-2013, the priority axis:
 
 

  1. Innovation and enterprise, Operation 1.6 Scheme B co-financed from EU funds and special purpose vehicle grants.

 
 
The timeframe of the project: from 14.09.2012 to 30.11.2014
Total project value: 2 016 036,28 PLN.
Amount of the granted financing: 1 147 034,00 PLN.
 

The project is aimed at creating a database that would enable engaging in researches.
  • Medical market – designing the cameras with the medical equipment status that will enable integration of thermography with ultrasound and microwave technology;
  • The veterinary market – procedures concerning researches and studies of animals are to be started with the horse market;
  • Developers’ market – studies of the NEDT ratio that would be suitable and small enough to conduct meaningful testing in construction;
  • Flying, floating and land vehicles operators – studies on the good quality camera with a software enabling detecting people in the water, smoke of fires, in the conditions of natural diseases, and enabling analysis of environmental contamination as well;
  • Research centres – developing dedicated and specific solutions for R&D units.

Ikorol Ltd. – the first spin-off joint of Warsaw University of Technology and the Ylia Company

Ikorol is a multifunctional anti-corrosion preparation of the latest generation. It was developed in the Laboratory of Technological Processes, faculty of chemistry, of Warsaw University of Technology. It was named the Product of the Year 2015 by the Polish Corrosion Society. Its graphic design has been recognized and appreciated by the most well-known and respected in the world graphic portal i.e. The Dieline, but above all it is the technology that after 10 years of research went through implementation of the company’s spin-off ikorol.

The company’s shareholders are the creators of the technology, the Institute for Applied Research on behalf of the Warsaw University of Technology and Ylia – a business partner responsible for the commercialization of the product. The development plans of the ikorol company focus on exporting products to world markets, as well as on transfer and commercialization of the technology on a wider scale. The Ylia company will deal with gaining new markets for products and the search for sources of funding that will facilitate building of a production plant.

Impact’16 4.0 Economy is the most important polish event on the new economy that takes place 15th-16th June in Cracow. The major themes of the conference are the key challenges and opportunities related to the development of entrepreneurship and innovation,
which stands for the foundation of a modern economy.

This year, during the second day of the conference, Mr. Michal Kucharski, an expert from
the Ylia company, will participate in a panel dedicated to “Commercialization – R&D” and will talk about commercialization of researches in Poland, as well as will present how
the cooperation of fields of science and business works.

Event patrons include: Ministry of Development, Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Ministry of Digitization, PARP (Polish Agency for Enterprise Development), NCBiR
(The National Centre for Research and Development). The aim of the Impact’16 is to create
a unique platform for a multilateral agreement, establishing contacts and building lasting relationships between industry, science, technology parks and the government.
