YLIA has two production facilities based in Poland, in Białystok and in Puławy. Both facilities are surrounded by the most modern infrastructure adjusted to the operational needs connected with modern technologies. The facilities are equipped with the conference halls, administration buildings, development facilities and hotels, which allow easy supervision of the realised processes. YLIA headquarters are based in Warsaw.

UE PROJECT

The company Inframed Nowe Technologie Sp. z o.o. has been granted a support from EU funds within the project ,,Increasing competitiveness of the company Inframed New Technologies Sp. z o.o by creating a thermal imaging technology research department” within the Regional Operational Programme of the Lublin for the period 2007-2013, the priority axis:
 
 

  1. Innovation and enterprise, Operation 1.6 Scheme B co-financed from EU funds and special purpose vehicle grants.

 
 
The timeframe of the project: from 14.09.2012 to 30.11.2014
Total project value: 2 016 036,28 PLN.
Amount of the granted financing: 1 147 034,00 PLN.
 

The project is aimed at creating a database that would enable engaging in researches.
  • Medical market – designing the cameras with the medical equipment status that will enable integration of thermography with ultrasound and microwave technology;
  • The veterinary market – procedures concerning researches and studies of animals are to be started with the horse market;
  • Developers’ market – studies of the NEDT ratio that would be suitable and small enough to conduct meaningful testing in construction;
  • Flying, floating and land vehicles operators – studies on the good quality camera with a software enabling detecting people in the water, smoke of fires, in the conditions of natural diseases, and enabling analysis of environmental contamination as well;
  • Research centres – developing dedicated and specific solutions for R&D units.

The first event YLIA Innovation Days is behind us !

The first event YLIA Innovation Days is behind us !

On the March 1 2016 in the assembly hall of the Warsaw University of Technology a conference was held in the framework of the Ylia Innovation Days devoted to the issue of
a transfer of knowledge and technology.

The Conference was opened by phd. eng. Jan Szmidt – the rector of the Warsaw University of Technology, and the whole event was moderated by Marcin Koziorowski – Ylia’s Project Manager and the originator of the conference. The meeting was an opportunity to exchange experiences, as well as a platform for discussion on cooperation between universities and business. The whole event was designed to prove that the knowledge and technology transfer from universities to business is possible. We showed where to start and what is important for the commercialization of a particular idea; how to improve and fasten the transfer; what young scientists should focus on and where they can seek support.
Among the guests who gave lectures were Prof. Janusz Lewandowski, Prof. Ludwik Synoradzki, Mr. Richard Prozner – representing the company Wielton S.A., Mr. Artur Czepczyński – the president of ABC Czepczyński Sp. z o.o., Mrs. Barbara Ostrowska – the President of Materials Care, as well as the President of  Ylia Sp. z o.o. – Mr. Michał Kucharski.

The final act of the conference was devoted to a workshop from a Microsoft Excel software – organized by the Higher Company, and held under patronage of Microsoft. However,
the main aspect of the event was the announcement of a contest for students to make up a project which thanks to the Ylia Group will have a chance to become commercialized. The main prize is a support worth up to 20 thousand PLN.

We thank all the speakers and partners for their cooperation in organizing the event.

Gazeta Wyborcza, one of the most prominent newspapers in Poland, has lately informed about opening our innovative metallurgical laboratory equipped in nowhere-in-the-region-available welding-cutting 3D laser located in the Bialystok Science and Technology Park. The operator of the laboratory is a consortium of three companies, led by Ylia company – a corporation dedicated to creating prototypes for various companies. The laboratory will use the MIM technology, instead of injection method, to create small metal parts by sintering. The cost of equipment and space adaptation has been over 10 mln PLN.
